China: is it preparing the world's largest merger of two companies?
China is preparing for the world's largest merger of two state-owned chemical company - Sinochem Group and ChemChina.
If the deal conclude, the revenue of the combined structure, which will be engaged in the production of chemicals, fertilizers and crude oil will reach $100 billion. Both state-owned companies have already begun a preliminary evaluation of their financial status in anticipation of a possible merger.
